RB Baumgartner specialises in the construction of mechanical watches. We use Swiss components from the watch movement right through to the wristband. All watches thus conform with the quality seal Swiss Made.

Choose a mechanical watch from the limited collection from RB Baumgartner. Or you can configure your individual watch. We hand-craft it in our watchmaking studio in Aarberg (Canton of Bern).

  • Individual Watches

    Would you like a tailor-made Swiss watch? A unique piece just for you? You can have your custom-made watch built for you by RB Baumgartner. Select your unique mechanical watch. We can make your individual watch completely personal with your own name in place of the brand name.

  • Mechanical Watch Movement

    RB Baumgartner mechanical watches are equipped with ETA, Sellita or Unitas watch movements.

    Unitas 6497/6498

    For many, the Unitas watch movement has long been the benchmark standard for movements for watches. The small seconds display can be at 6 o’clock (Unitas 6498) or 9 o’clock (Unitas 6497).

    The Unitas 6497 or 6498 watch movement both have the following properties:

    • Manual winding
    • Small seconds display at 9 or 6
    • 16½ ligne
    • Ø 36.6 mm, H 4.5 mm
    • 17 rubies
    • Frequency 18,000 A/h
    • Power reserve 46 hours

    ETA 2824-2 or SW-200

    The ETA 2824 and Sellita SW-200 are among the most used watch movements. It has the date at 3 o’clock or 6 o’clock.

    The movement has the following additional specifications:

    • Small seconds display in the middle
    • Date at 3 or 6 o’clock
    • 11½ ligne
    • Ø 25.6 mm, H 4.6 mm
    • 25 or 26 rubies (SW-200)
    • Frequency 28,800 A/h

    ETA 2836-2

    The ETA 2836-2 watch movement is an evolution of the ETA 2824 and has a day of the week display as well as the date.

    The movement has the following additional features:

    • Day and date window at 3 o’clock
    • 11½ ligne
    • Ø 25.6 mm, H 5.05 mm
    • 25 rubies
    • Frequency 28,800 A/h

    Valjoux 7750

    The ETA Valjoux 7750 is the watch movement most commonly used for mechanical chronographs and is still used today in many watch brands.

    The ETA Valjoux 7750 watch movement has the following properties:

    • Small seconds display at 9 o’clock
    • Minute totaliser at 12 o’clock
    • Hour totaliser at 6 o’clock
    • Date and day display at 3 o’clock

    • Power reserve 44 hours

    Valjoux 7751

    The ETA Valjoux 7751 is the most complex watch movement made by ETA. As well as the chronograph functions, the movement shows date (date hand), day of the week, month and moon phase. In addition, the movement also has a 24-hour display.

    The ETA Valjoux 7751 watch movement has the following properties:

    • Small seconds display and 24 hour display at 9 o’clock
    • Minute totaliser, day and month display at 12 o’clock
    • Hour totaliser and moon display at 6 o’clock
    • Date display at the centre

  • Collection

    The RB Baumgartner collection includes mechanical watches with automatic movements or manual winding. Swiss watches are predominantly mounted with watch movements made by ETA and Sellita companies.

    In addition, limited editions are given specific and/or historical movements.

    RB Baumgartner watches can have a diameter from 36 to 46 mm. They are available in different styles; vintage or classic, sport or pilot and are divided into three categories: PASSION, EMOTION, FASCINATION

  • Service and Repairs

    We repair your mechanical and electronic watches in our studio in Aarberg (Canton of Bern). Our services include all routine work needed on your watch.
