WOUF Watch

The WOUF watch represents a deeply personal milestone. I didn’t want a watch that simply bore my name; I wanted a personal timepiece that embodied a part of who I am—reflecting my history, my time as a footballer, and the things that define me.

I was able to bring this vision to life together with Reto Baumgartner of RB Baumgartner Swiss Watchmaking. We developed the colors, shapes, and details to create a unique Swiss watch that feels exactly right to me.

I particularly love the WOUF logo on the dial. It makes the WOUF watch unmistakable and gives it a truly personal touch. And so, to mark my 44th birthday, an idea evolved into a timepiece that will accompany me for a long time to come.

For me, time is the most valuable asset. Spending time with my family—especially my two boys—means everything to me. To me, time is not merely about duration but, above all, about quality: shared moments, laughter, conversations, and the feeling of truly being there for one another.

Watches also feature in my family history: my Nonno Hans was a watchmaker—a passion he pursued with great dedication. His love for the craft shaped me from an early age and deepened my appreciation for precision and patience.
